Sign up to become a Young Climate Warriors Ambassador
Are you passionate about helping others understand and care for our natural world?
Are you a positive, confident, self-starter who would like to support local schools, helping encourage children to understand more about climate change?

Why become an Ambassador?
-
The opportunity to facilitate children's understanding of climate change.
-
The opportunity to develop your presentation, organisational and people skills.
-
Assembly expenses reimbursed.
What does the role involve?
As an Ambassador you would build relationships with your local schools, share our climate change/sustainable living assembly with them, and offer follow-up Eco-club sessions as requested. You would receive training, guidance, and content materials.
What skills do I need?
-
A passion for climate change and enthusiasm for starting conversations about this subject.
-
A ‘stubborn optimist’ outlook believing that we can and we will combat climate change.
-
Experience of engaging with primary school-aged children, or a willingness to do so.
-
Strong communication skills alongside a willingness to develop and improve them.
-
An ability to use your initiative and think on your feet.
-
The composure to act professionally and respectfully in all interactions with school staff, teachers and pupils.
